Not sure what to say?

Dan and I grew up in the good ole East End of Winona went to St. Stans and Cotter together. We had many fun times at the East End Rec. Hugs to his family. Rest in peace old friend.

Sue, So sorry to hear of Dan's passing. May God comfort you and your family!

I am so sorry to learn of your loss.

Very sorry for your family Sue. Working with Dan back in the day at Red Owl he was fun loving and knew the meat business. At that time we lived and worked in Mankato MN. I have great memories of Dan. He will never be forgotten in my book. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself and family. Jim and Ann Reisdorf. ❤

I havent seen Dan in a while, but I sometimes baby sat him and his brother Steve.
I know he will be missed. He was a great guy. His dad was my brother.

I was so sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. My deep condolences to the family. My memories of Dan are rooted in our childhood and teenage years, and when I turn to those memories what occur to me first are images of Dan swinging his bat in a baseball game. That swing had power and grace in abundance. And I’m sure that’s what characterized Dan throughout his life – his power and grace that he shared with all those he loved.

Dan was such a great guy - he coached my daughter for several years in summer softball. He was never that coach who was demanding or degrading, as so many coaches are these days. BUT he let everyone know he was there for the WIN. He set the goals, encouraged his players, and everyone respected him. I LOVE looking back on the memories from the games back in the late 80s and early 90s. The girls had lots of fun under his leadership AND lots of success. Rest in peace, Coach Dan. My deepest...

As Joe and I sit here visiting about Dan, the things that stand out to us are... his ability to chat with anyone and everyone, his friendly demeanor, his ability to tell it like it is, his love of the Packers, his love of sitting on the deck overlooking the lake, and his immense love and pride of his family! We will be deeply missed by his Lake Lida friends and neighbors. Tami & Joe Seifert family

So sorry for your loss. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
