Not sure what to say?

I did not know Dr. William. However, I just watched his appearance on Phil Donahue in 1982 talking about AIDS. He left an impression on me and seemed to embody all the attributes you would want in a doctor. I am so sad to learn he died much too soon.

Such a shock and hard to imagine Dan having left this world! He was a beacon of inspiration and invention during the '70's when we shared work at the Gay Men's Health Project. He truly understood egalitarian community building, showing the way for gay men in need of reliable testing and counseling for stds an other medical issues. I regret I lost touch with him but I have not forgotten and will not forget him. He was a grand human being and a gift to us all.
My heart goes out to Bob...

Goodbye, Dan. You were the easiest doctor to talk to I ever visited. To Bob, my deepest sympathy.
