We came to Va.to visit our son Nathan for his retirement from Navy and wanted to look up my Uncle Dan. We are very saddened to hear the news of his passing and can only remember now how wonderful he was to all of us kids when he came to visit. He was an inspiration to all of us and he will be kept closely to all of our hearts.

Because I held your father in such high esteem and affection and so cherished our friendship, I share in your grief for the loss of Danny. I am grateful to him for so many reasons, not least of which was sharing his family with me. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and in a special place in my heart.

Sorry to hear of the passing of dear cousin Daanny. We will always remember his visits to Ireland and all the good times and fun we had together. All of the family send their sincerest condolance and will pray for him.
