To the family of Dan. I can not even express how sorry I am for your loss. My sister, Stacey Larose and I grew up knowing Dan and Nick. When Dan would see my sister he would always ask how I was doing. Although we became older and went our separate ways into highschool I would see him in the halls and think of him. Dan was a good looking guy. He had a heart of gold and a great personality. Funny as all too. He will be forever be remembered.
My deepest sympathy

Dear Brenda,
Dan was a student in my Science and elective classes here at NCSAP. I enjoyed having Dan as a student. He was quick to laugh or to join into a discussion. He will be missed. My fondest memories of Dan will always be his pink shirt. The first day I saw him wear that shirt I thought "Now here is a kid who is very comfortable with who he is." Do not be surprised to see alot of pink at his funeral. It will be one way to honor his memory.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. I missed Dan so much when he moved but now I will always miss him. He was so special to me, I know it couldn't ever match up to how you feel but it hurts me. I have so many memories with him that I will keep forever.
" Daniel, you were wonderful, so special, and perfect. Many people saw you as quiet but to me, the smartest funniest, most caring, and happiest person I ever knew. Along with so many people that loved you, I wish I could have said...

Our memories of Dan are of one who was quiet, shy, crafty and very funny (sounds crazy but true). Dan was a regular at our house and we really enjoyed the times he spent with us. My son Dane met Dan at Barton Academy. They grew up together, were very close and spent a lot of time with each other back then. Dane laughed most when they were together. Time passes, interests change and they ended up at different schools. I think Dane always figured they would be close again one day. Dan was a...

Dan was a student as NCSAP, an all day student like me. He was always ready to help if someone asked for it. He was really funny and could make anyone laugh and smile. He was a really sweet guy and had something good to say about everyone. He was never mean to anyone. No one disliked Dan. He accepted everyone as his friend. I will miss him so much, but I know that you'll miss him more than I ever could. I'm very sorry for your loss.
