Daniel Wong

Our deepest condolences to Daniel Wongs family. Our family frequented his restaurant so much from the time when I was still carrying my daughter in the womb until she was in her 20s. Thank you for sharing your gastronomical talents to Houston. You will always be remembered.

Our sympathies and condolences for Mr. Wong"s passing. We knew him through so many restaurants and made so many memories with his son, David. Love and prayers for his family.

Danny and I became great friends as I lived around the corner from his last restaurant, Daniel Wong´s Kitchen. I ate there so often I practically became a fixture. I made crawfish etoufee for him to show that I could also cook. In return he cooked a ham for me and proudly told me he could "cook American". My great niece always enjoyed playing with his daughter, Mary when we were at his restaurant. Such a great guy that I remember with fondness. Gay McCoy

I am sorry to hear of your father's passing. I grew up doing to Ming Palace and will always have fond memories of it as part of my Houston history. God bless your family.

Enjoyed meals at Ming Palace often. There was a picture of Mr. Wong by and airplane. Wonderful memory. May his memory be blessed.
