I was really sorry to hear about your son/brother Dan. We know that he is now with God in a better place. God will never give us more than we can bear, and he is with you through every step in your life.

Your son/brother will always be with you; his spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your son/brother. God gives us examples on this earth of how we should live our lives...

To Megan and family:
There are no true words that I or my family can express to. Your loss of Dan is tremendous. We are so sorry! We wanted you to know that we will be planting some trees in our front yard, to celabrate his joy for nature and life.

john, els, megan, and little ones, it's been one month now without dan among us. you have all been uppermost in my thoughts each and every single day and will continue to be as you learn to live on, with His grace, in such a challenging new reality. i can not begin to comprehend this awesome loss, yet i do believe that all is well and am so thankful for all the years we had dan and his smiling face. my love always, aunt judy xo

When your Dad was about 3 years old, and I was in college...I followed him around for an entire day writing down every move he made, and everything he said...so I could write a paper about him later. It was a riot following his every step because he was so full of energy..and had the most impish little smile, and adorable sense of humor. Tennis, volleyball, mountain climbing, canoeing...those shared pasttimes flood through my mind as I remember Danny. Especially this last summer, he seemed to be always ready to live in the moment with his family and/or extended family. He will be sorely missed by me.
