Not sure what to say?

With deepest Sympathies, Patrick W. Lord Paul Smiths 2004

Dear Wright Family,
I was really sorry to hear about your son/brother Dan. We know that he is now with God in a better place. God will never give us more than we can bear, and he is with you through every step in your life.

Your son/brother will always be with you; his spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your son/brother. God gives us examples on this earth of how we should live our lives...

To Megan and family:
There are no true words that I or my family can express to. Your loss of Dan is tremendous. We are so sorry! We wanted you to know that we will be planting some trees in our front yard, to celabrate his joy for nature and life.

love always
The Cooney Family

To The Entire Wright Family,
From the entire Zins and Noble families comes our sincere and deep sympathy. When I think of Dan I have glimpses of him growing up at BCA. I remember his kindness to Mel's friends (Stephen included)and how they enjoyed his sense of fun and adventure. More recently, I smile when I remember him walking Ruthie in to school and the obvious father-daughter bond they shared. They also share a smile that is inviting and just a wee bit mischievous. Our love to all...

Dear Ruthie, Sam and Lincoln,
When your Dad was about 3 years old, and I was in college...I followed him around for an entire day writing down every move he made, and everything he said...so I could write a paper about him later. It was a riot following his every step because he was so full of energy..and had the most impish little smile, and adorable sense of humor. I see that same impish grin and sense of humor in all of you!! It was so great to see him use that sense of humor and...

Tennis, volleyball, mountain climbing, canoeing...those shared pasttimes flood through my mind as I remember Danny. Especially this last summer, he seemed to be always ready to live in the moment with his family and/or extended family. He will be sorely missed by me.
I can't encapsule Danny any more effectively than what my son Stephen wrote about his older cousin less than a decade ago, in February of 2000, "As a boy I had always idolized my cousin Dan and to me he epitomized cool. ...

Ruth, Sam and Linclon,

Before I tell you a story about your Father I want to thank you for bringing a smile to my face at the Church playground.
I felt really close to Dan watching you run around and play, and when I heard your laughs I could hear his. I am sure he would have though that was a good idea too, swings, toy cars and jungle-gyms beat out finger- sandwiches, coffee and a bunch of sad adults any day! Thats the kinda guy he was - always ready to be active and have fun. I...

Dear Ruth, Sam, and Lincoln:
Our hearts ache for all of you during this sad season of your precious little lives. We didn't know your dad very well or for very long, but his love for you and your mom always showed. Your dad had a smile on his face whenever I would see him with you guys at BCA. And when our families would worship together at Godspeed, it was plain to see that your dad just adored each one of you. He loves Jesus too!! I'll bet that your dad is so excited about ...
