Dan and I were very close in our younger days, he and his mom and dad welcomed me into their home often. Over the years we may have lost track of each other, but he has never been, nor never will be forgotten. Very sad to hear of his passing. My prayers and condolences to the family.

Dan was like a father, mentor and great friend to me. Ever since I met Dan as a young kid, he was the one guy that would crack a smile that was so contagious, it was great. Dan also taught me everything from hunting, fishing, and fixing just about everything. I shot my first buck and turkey with Dan, those day's were one of the best. Dan always told me to do well in school and stay out of trouble, and I did just that for him. I am really going to miss him and will never forget him. His wife...
