Not sure what to say?

Hey brother, just been thinking about you lately, and all the good times we had in Germany. I miss our drawing time together and having competitions. You definitely were the better artist. I hope your family is well and I know you're looking over them as you were looking out for our friends in Afghanistan. Until Valhalla, and save me a beer.

Rest in peace, brother. You laid your life years before I joined and I am eternally grateful for what you did. As a soldier currently enlisted in the Army and also from the Southside of Chicago, I can’t help but draw comparisons of your life to mine. I’ve driven by the Szykowny Funeral Home countless times growing up, unknowing of the sacrifice you made years before. I’m proud to have shared the same city and organization with you. But, no matter what I do, I will never be half the soldier...

Thinking of you everyday brother. Thanks for looking down on us still today.

PFC Zizumbo:
I didn't know you but I was the 1SG of 1st CTC when you died. I had arrived to the company 6 months earlier and only knew of you through the contact with your deployed Platoon Sgt when i spoke with him to get a status report. I arranged the military funeral for you and held the last gut wrenching roll call when you did not answer. I comforted the Soldiers who did know you and we got through a tough time together. Know that you are still in my heart to this day because...
