May 5, 2017 - Sending my love Daniela. Ever so miss you.

I'm not sure what came over me to google her name. I think about her all the time but, it's hard to focus. I miss her every day and have never been able to write anything for/about her that seems substantial enough to leave written.

She was a powerful force in my life; to have her gone has left me spun and confused. Not all who wander are lost but, I am so lost without you D.

I miss being interchangeable with you in sentences. I miss your frowny face when there was not enough...

I know how difficult this weekend had to be for you.
Thank goodness you had Alex and Lauren with you to send off your little angel to the wacky, wonderful afterworld, where Daniela is no doubt making her mark. Maybe on horseback. Perhaps on the field. Doing all you do and having dealt with this unimaginable tragedy with your usual grace and strength is inspirational. Keep on keepin' on.

This is Jennifer Smith, the nanny from 1994-1995, and I've just read about Daniela's passing. I'm so, so sorry to hear that you've lost her. I've thought about your family many times through the years, and had seen Daniela on Facebook. She was such an interesting, smart, lively girl (part of a lovely family), and again, I'm so sorry to see that she's gone now. Please accept my deepest condolences.

May the precious memories of Daniela be a comfort to you now and may it help to know that many thoughts and prayers are with you in your sorrow.
