Dan "yell", as we called her at my house, was one of the strongest women I have ever known. When she entered a room, her presence was known by that beautiful smile. She helped me through some very tough times in my life. My prayers and sympathy go out to her family, especially "Sandy".. She always talked about how much her mother taught her about caring for others.
