Not sure what to say?

Missing you a whole lot auntie. Still remembering the first time we met like it was yesterday and when you lived with us and ten other people in a small trailor lol good times. Ive tried to write a poem in the rememberance of you a thousand times but no words nor exspressions could really show how you were or how much I loved you I cant tell you how many times i pinched myself to see if this all was a dream when they told me you were gone though it wouldve been really messed up, I wished and...

To DJ's family, may your fond memories and love of DJ be forever embedded in your heart. I will remember her as a Girl Scout Brownie with my daughter (Deshika). The girls were always full of fun and exciting. May God bless and keep the family strong.

DJ you were a friend, counselor to me. You never had a frown on your face that i could never see. I may not see you for years but when we do meet its just like we haven't talked in a week.
That is what a friend, is someone that will not change because of distance. You will be missed.
C/O 1998 Gainesville High

Mrs. Thelma I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of DJ. God Bless You and the family through this time of need.

Thank you for your laughter. Thank you for all the times we spent joking around at work. Thank you for the talks we had about throwin' down in the kitchen. Thank you for your cornbread recipe. Thank you for inspiring us to "do better". Thank you for just being you. Thank GOD for bringing you to Geico and to our section and giving us the chance to know you. You will truly be missed.

Who could truly forget your smile? The answer is "NO-ONE"! Simply unforgettable. I will always remember going to my daddy's house and yelling over the fence, "Hey DJ." You always had the most easy going, loving spirit...... I am sure everyone would say the same. God really has a special angel in heaven with him! You will forever be missed!

Thelma,
With deepest sympathy my heart goes out to you, Danette, Robbie, Jon, and Jennifer. I was completely overwhelmed to hear that DJ had passed after talking to you almost two weeks before. I have only the fondest memories of DJ growing up and blossoming into a beautiful young woman. I remember when she was born, my cousin, Tameka, was born five days later and Robbie and I would compare their growth stages. Little did we know that the two of them would become good friends. As DJ...

DJ,

Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and wish that I could just talk to you for five minutes or see your smile. I miss you because you were a true friend to me and just like you always told me I knew that I had you to have my back and to be my strength when I needed it. I won't forget you ever. As a tribute to your memory, I hope that I can start doing some of those things that you told me I should be doing with my life. As you always said" Get it together, Mel". I'm...

I miss you DJ. Life & work don't seem the same since you passed. Some people don't understand how one could love a friend so much. But you had that affect on people. When the day comes I know we will meet again. "Imma need for you to look for me." One your famous sayings.
