Danielle, I still have and cherish your beloved eating machine, Zaya. She still does the growlie growls and is bossy with all my other mutts including her cousins Sydney, Buster, and Toto, your mother's and sister's dogs. Yep...they gave them up. I know it broke your heart to give up Zaya, but she is very happy with us and sleeps with me every night, growling if anyone tries to share the space. I brought her to your grave for a visit. She enjoyed being there, and I hoped you "saw" her.

I've been trying to search for the rights words to describe what a huge impact you have made in people's lives. You were such a amazingly beautiful person inside and out. You were such a strong, loyal, loving, honest, funny, friend. I was so excited to hear you were pregnant and even more excited to watch you be the amazing mother to Hadley, that we all knew you would be. Hadley looks just like you and loves her mommy so much. This just doesn't seem fair to her, Dan, your family, and...

To the family of Danielle, you have my deepest sympathy, in the loss of your loved one. May God give you the needed strength to endure at this very trying time, (1 Corinthians 10:13)
