My husband of 38 years and I used to listen to MH together a lot. My favorite thing was singing like Danny Joe. My then-boyfriend-now-husband thought it was amazing that I could nail that same throat-rolling growl that Danny was so well known for when I would sing along. I can't do it as well these days but I sure appreciate MH being a fixture in our early years together - and we've never stopped listening. Godspeed DJB. We love you.

I will never forget the first time I heard Molly Hatchet, my friend played Dreams I´ll never see and I was hooked. Rest in Peace Danny Joe, you were one of the greatest.

I was able to see Danny Joe Brown with Hatchet at the old Hollywood Sportatorium in 1980. I think the Johnny Van Zant band and The Outlaws opened...He was one of a kind vocally....

in remembrance of a super man I was helping DJ and Bobby ingram at one show in Colorado Springs help set up thier equipment and was asked after the show to drive them personally the next morning from Colorado Springs to Denver so they could be on a plane back home I guess, and on the way up Dj said hey pull over here and low and behold it was Taco Bell. of all places that's where he said I'll buy us breakfast ill never forget that and I felt so at home with them. one of my ultimate dreams...
