Danny...There we were... stationed together in Aug 1980 at Ft Knox, KY at the Drill Sergeant School. I remember you well...Happy go lucky Drill Sergeant. You were a great instructor. I learned alot from you and all the other Instructors: Jim Cowan, Charles A Robinson, and all the others. You were completing your degree from Mckendree College ... and your encouragement ...led me to enroll and complete my degree. The last time I spoke with you ...you were assigned to the Department of the Army...

Dad, Unfortunately I didn't have the privilege of having you in my life for the first 21 years. But, I feel Blessed having known you for the past 11 years. You were a very special, lovable Man and I love you very much. I am very sadened that your Grandchildren, Laura, Natalia, Kaila, Miguell, Angelina and Isabella have not had the chance to really know you and that you never really had the chance to know them. You will be greatly missed in our lives. I was surprised to learn of your death. I...

Dear Lee and Danielle, I have put this off long enough so I thought I'd leave you a message. I know Danny made it to Heaven. And, where Danny is at, we will all be some day. I have known Danny for a very long time. I miss him. I know the both of you miss him.. But, God will provide for you and Danielle and keep you safe and happy and healthy. In Jesus name I pray. I look forward to seeing you both again some day. Stay in Church. Read your Bible daily. Pray. Enjoy life as much as you can. I...

Danny-My husband my best friend. How I miss you how I miss sharing such simple things as how our day was. My pain is enormous but so is our God and I hold on to that knowledge on a daily basis. I know you are happy where you are and I know your body is healthy and you aren't tired anymore, but I still miss you so much. I love you. Our whole life has been a roller coaster ride, with some very high mountains and some pretty love valleys but we took the ride and it was scary, fun, exhilirating,...

Uncle Danny,
I am sad to see you go, but I know you are in a better place. I know I will see you one day and till that day, We all will think of you. I think of all the times you came down to visit and how much life you brought to my house. I love you Uncle Danny. Bobby

Grandpa, we love and miss you. You are the BEST grandpa anybody could ever have. We know you are in heaven with God and that he is taking good care of you. We will always love you. We always enjoyed our visits with you, Nana and Aunt Danielle.

Danny,
You were my first love and from that love we created 3 beautiful children, Kelly, Julie and Danny Jr. who in turn added to our family with grandchildren. Our blended family was usual to most, but for all of us it was wonderful and full of love; the kind of love most people never experience. I miss you very much; there is now a very large void in my heart since you have left us. I look at Dustin, our grandson and he looks so much like you it’s amazing. Then I remember he is the...

I'll miss Uncle Danny very much. He was a wonderful person. All my love.

Uncle Danny was one of the wisest, most accepting people I have ever encountered. Though I didn't get a chance to be around him much, his character shined through. Never judgemental and always motivating. Always for the purpose of education whether it be formal or just out of insight. Very calm and collected, I always looked up to him and hope to be half the wonderful person he was. I love you Uncle Danny.
