Not sure what to say?

Peggy, I am saddened to learn of your loss. I think of you often. Just know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your babies. You are a strong person, so I know you will be strong for them -- they need you now. Love, Charlotte

Peggy,

The saddest of days is when you learn your hero has passed away. Danny was a hero not only to Leah and Jack, but to so many youngsters who passed through the doors of WBRH. He was the reason that I made a career out of radio and for that I am very grateful. But, I am even more grateful for having Danny as a mentor while I was at WBRH. His knowledge, dedication and commitment to excellence were only overshadowed by his passion for radio and family. Plus, he told some of...

Dear Peggy,

My heart is hurting with you and Leah and Jack. Danny was a fierce and faithful friend, whose ability to listen and encourage made a significant impact on my life in the mid-1980's.

I moved away from BR in 1991, and the last time I saw y'all was at my wedding in 1994, but within the past year he did track me down and we talked about our friendship and God's blessings in our lives since then. I am SO thankful we got to have that conversation. What an...

Dear Peg,
I just heard about Danny. Words won't do much I know, but Danny was one of my favorite conversationalists. It saddens me that we did not get to spend more time together. Leah is and always will be one of Mary Hannah's all time great friends. You are all in our prayers.

Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for the kind words and memories of Danny. Leah and Jack were the light of Danny's life so these will help them remember their father and happy times when we were together as a family. Although we miss Danny dearly, we know that he is in a better place where he is finally pain free. Peggy Dean

Dear Peggy,

I am saddened and shocked to hear of Danny's passing. Just three days ago I received an e-mail from him trying to catch up from the old days. I worked with Danny at the station after I graduated BRHS when he took over after John Dobbs.

When I first met him, he was the guy who worked the Sunday Christian rock show. Not just a regular three hour shift like the rest of us mind you, the WHOLE Sunday. I thought at the time, wow. What dedication.

His...

Dear Peggy, Jack and Leah,
We are just getting the sad news today. We are so sorry for your loss. Michael has always been close to Jack and I know he would want you to know that he'll be praying for you. Peggy, please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything we can do for any of you. You are in our prayers.

Peggy and family,

I am so sorry for your loss and pray that the Lord will grant you many tender mercies amid your grief.

I remember Danny as the go-getter sophomore at WBRH when I was a senior working at the station. I also recall his reputation as the staff "Jesus freak," a status he obtained (in his true driven fashion) years before some others of us.

I reckon about the best any of us can hope for when we've breathed our last is that our time on earth...

Peggy,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your children.
