Graveside service for Danny J. "Monkey" Drane, 57, of Trinity will be Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Flat Creek Missionary Baptist Cemetery with Parkway Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Drane, who died Monday, September 10, 2012, at his residence, was born February 22, 1955, in Chicago, Ill., to Raymond and Hazel Brewer Drane. He was preceded in death by his son, Ashley Chad Drane; and daughter, Amanda Victoria Caitlin Drane.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Drane; one daughter, Katy Drane; one brother, Bobby Drane; three sisters, Betty (Ronnie) Benfield, Patty (Kenneth) Hughes and Linda King.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Dutton, Joshua Reynolds, Jason Robinson, Michael Holmes, Craig Autry and Bennie Standridge.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Bailey, Jason Bailey, Jamie Bailey and Ted Zaragosa.

Fuzz, you were such a warm and caring person. I remember Tommy and I coming over to your house to play with Katy when we were little. You will be greatly missed. Betty and Katy, my prayers and love go out to you and your family.

Monkey, You are one of the best friends a person could ever have ask for.I will always cherish all the memories of you from the time I first moved to Alabama to the last time I talked to you.
