Mrs. Ellis, Barry and Terry, I learned of your loss Saturday from Phil McIntyre at a band contest. I still can't believe he is gone. Please know that are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family and friends of Keith Ellis from Dan Shilstat-Manager of the Nashville Community Concert Band.

During Keith's tenure with Belmont University, the NCCB played eight spring concerts with the Belmont Band in the Spring. Keith and I ended up folding up the concerts and equipment and talked a good bit about community music and his desire to help the amateur community groups be showcased. Keith was a talented musician and caring teacher. I will always fondly remember the times that I got to work with him. He inspired so many like myself. My thoughts are with you all.
