I remember Danny so well from High School and judging from this picture, it doesn't look like he changed much in the last 40 years. I wish I had known Danny as an adult; it sounds like he was a wonderful person who accomplished much before leaving our world.

Denise and Ian,
It was a fitting memorial service yesterday for Danny. He was such a great person He cared deeply about both of you. He loved you both very deeply.I miss him everyday, so I know you are hurting everyday. Hopefully, time will help us with the healing. I have to remember that Danny is with God and is not suffering anymore. Danny was the true hero of his community. What he did with those old buildings in Hillman CIty is just splendid, and we're all the better for it. There ought to be a statue of him on the corner of Rainier and Orcas.

I'll miss you, Danny. See you on the other side.

Danny's contribution to Hillman City made a significant difference. His kindness was always appreciated and admired. When I would see him he would always tell me call Denise she would like to hear from you, even though I often stopped because it was him I wanted to share thoughts with. His spirit will be with us always.

My world was a better place because of Dan.
