Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to hear of the death of Danny Grier. He will be missed by myself who considers Danny to be a mentor. During my early adult development years in Flint, I was blessed to get guidance, wisdom and mentoring from Danny. He was always a consummate and sensitive brother who helped me continue appreciating the arts and showed an example of how to live an exemplary life.

After moving to Detroit, we kept in communication about the important developmental aspects of life. ...

Doug and I were so sad to hear about Danny's death. He was such a joy to be around! I'll never forget his elegance and grace and beautiful voice, his hard work on Central's class reunion, his sense of humor, his appreciation of fine food and wine and having a good cup of LaVassa at Good Beans. He will be missed!

We are so saddened by Danny's passing. He was a gentle man, Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. We are so aware of his struggles of late.

Dear Grier Family:
Dan was a very, very special friend to my family. We were members of St. Paul's Cathedral in Detroit and he was in the choir with my husband and son. He came to our home often and I have happy memories of his sense of humor, his kindness, and his love of music. He was a joy to know.
