Not sure what to say?

Danny and I graduated Angelo State together as Ag majors and Block and Bridle members. I have learned that after obtaining his teaching degree from Tech, he taught Ag at Lamesa, my high school, where Ag and stock showing was my life.
My heart goes out to all of the Gunn family. By reading the other enteries, I can tell he gave a lot to many students thru his teaching and had such a positive impact on the Agriculture community. You are in my prayers.

Darlene,
You and your entire family have been in my prayers. May the Lord wrap you tightly in his arms at this heartbreaking time. We love you all.

To the Gunn family, I send heartfelt sympathy to each of you in this tragic loss. Danny and his sister, Nita Jo, were students of mine in the early 1970's at Post Middle School. I was the 6th grade science teacher and also taught a reading class. Both of these young people left an unforgettable impression on me. Not only were they excellent students, but they demonstrated remarkable character. As I read about Danny's life and the impact he had on others, it didn't surprise me - he would...

We did not know Mr. Gunn, but we are certain that he was an outstanding man. My husband is an ag teacher, and I know how much of himself he gives to his career, and I am sure Mr. Gunn did the same. Your family is in our prayers daily, and our hearts go out to you and your children. Please know that there are more people praying for you than you'll ever know...people you'll never meet...people around the world. What a legacy Mr. Gunn leaves behind!! I'm sure he touched more lives than...

Darlene and Family: You all are in my
thoughts, my heart, and my prayers.
Wishing all of you strength and peace.

To the Gunn Family, I extend my deepest sympathy to you at this difficult time. Although I do not know you or Mr. Gunn , I do recognize the impact that teachers, especially ag teachers have on the lives of our young people. The FFA family of members, alumni and parents extend our thoughts and prayers to you.

I did my student teaching with Danny a few years ago. He was a great teacher and an amazing person. I was so sad to hear of this loss, he will be missed by so many. The family will be in my prayers.

I did not know Mr. gunn, but I grew up in Idalou. My two nephews attend school in Idalou. The students, faculty, town and especially the family are in my prayers.

I remember Danny from college days at Angelo State. He was a good friend of my brother Jim Bob. I thought about him a few times over the last 30 years a wondered whatever became of him. He had the sweetest nature. My condolences to his family.
