With the dust starting to settle from a very emotional and tumultuous week, I'd like to say a few things about my father-in-law Dan.

Dan was a very special man. It is a tremendous honor to be part of his amazing family.

We shared a lot over the last 12 years. I grew to view Dan as both a father figure and friend. I would look to him for advice and guidance - and he was ALWAYS there. We spent some of my best days fishing up at Lake Amador, or wading across the American River....

Dear Maxine, Misty, Wendy and Family,

We were so saddened to hear of Dan's passing. We will miss running into him out at the softball complex watching our now adult girls play ball. We'll miss his gentleness and kindness. He was truly a beautiful person. Peace be with all of you and may Dan soar with the angels.

So sorry to hear of Danny's passing. May God comfort you during this time and in the days to follow. It was so good to see you (Maxine) and Danny at our class reunion may he now Rest In Peace.

Our hearts are saddened by your great loss. Danny was a very gentle, kind man, and we have been blessed to have known him. We miss seeing him and are thankful for the cheer he always inspired in us after each of our neighborly chats. May God continue to give you strength and comfort, Maxine, and also provide strength and comfort for your dear family.
