Not sure what to say?

To the Horst family:
I was very sad to hear of Danny's passing. Very hard to understand "Why" but God has another Plan for Danny. Tammy and Family, I will Pray for the healing of your broken hearts.

My sincerest condolences to the Horst Family we will miss you brother...

I am so saddened by Danny's loss. Everything about Dan was big: his heart, his humor, his love for his family and friends, his service to his country and community. The world is a smaller place without Danny in it.

Dear Danny, words can not express the emptiness that I feel with your passing. I will miss your laugh and smile, your big blue eyes, but most of all your big bear hugs. I will cherish our memories forever. Keep me a seat warm and don't flirt too hard with the angels. I love ya, save me a dance. Love Deb,,,,Las Vegas
Josh if you need anything you have my number, I am only a phone call away. May God bless you and all of your family with your great loss. I am sure he is smiling down on all of...

Please accept our deepest sympathy to the family of our brother Dan Ray Horst. Our prayers are with you.

So sad to hear the news of Danny's passing. I once read, "To the dying, the face of death is not a terrible monster. Nature has made it so."
This has helped me through the years of loosing loved ones and friends. I hope it helps you.
I will miss your wit, humor, big smile and friendly wave. I think of the times we went hunting jack rabbits and the making of raisins on the Horst farm in Lodi, Ca. What good times we had!
Thank all of you for sharing some memories of Danny.
He will...

Dear Danny

Although I had not seen you for almost a year, I thought about you often. I missed the times when you, Rick, and myself would ocassionally meet at the old sports casino downtown for lunch when you were still with the county. We would laugh and have a great time. Those will be greatly missed. You will be greatly missed. I bet that when you arrived at the Pearly Gates, the thunder of your bike and the grin on your face made all of Heaven stand and welcome you, just as everyone...

I WAS A FRIEND OF TAMMY'S GROING UP AND I THINK OF ALL THE FUN WE HAD TORMENTING YOUR BROTHER. THEN WE WE STARTED DRIVING AND HE HAD THE CHANCE TO GET EVEN WHILE ON THE SHERRIFF'S DEPARTMENT. I USED TO LOVE TO COME DOWN TO YOUR FAMILY HOME IN LEMMON VALLEY AND PLAY WITH TAMMY AND ALLYOUR LITTLE WEINER DOGS. I STILL DRIVE BY THE HOUSE AND REMEMBER THIS. MY MOM STILL LIVES ON PALACE DRIVE OUT THERE AND I AM THERE QUITE OFTEN. TAMMY I MISS YOUR FRIENDSHIP.I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS ALL OF YOU....

I knew Danny from the many years he spent as a high school football official. He will be missed by his fellow members of the Northern Nevada Football Officials Association who had the opportunity to know and work with him.

Blessings to Dan's family and loved ones during this difficult time.
