Mr. Danny Edward Lail, 68, of Connelly Springs, died Sunday November 13, 2016 at CMC Blue Ridge Valdese, after a period of declining health. Mr. Lail was born January 10, 1948 in Burke County, a son of the late James Produs Wycoff and Fleta Young Lail. He was a retired painter and was well respected in the construction industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Vic Lail, a sister Judy Carswel, and brother ,Roby Wycoff. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Dixon Lail of the home, children, Linda Hildebrand, Timmy Lail, Tammy Lail, Chancey Perry, step children, Tammy White, Sonya Jackson and Kelly Waddell. Also surviving are sisters, Sue Robinson, Mildred--,Elsie --- ,and Margaret--, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Service of Celebration will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday November 16, 2016 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Eric James officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

I know you are in a much better place looking down at your Wife and Children and Grandchildren. Although you are no longer physically with us, you will forever remain in our hearts and your spirit will always be felt. Thank you for coming into our lives and enriching all of us. You were an amazing person that showed us all how to live life to the fullest. Rest in Peace Danny.
