Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of Danny's passing. I remember listening and dancing to his music in the Newport News High School cafeteria. His music was great and will always be a part of my high school memories. Barbara Houston

Danny,
In this life you were my uncle and my friend. My life will be forever changed for having you in it and because you're gone it will never be the same.
God Bless until we meet again.

When I saw Danny's obituary, I was flooded with memories of another day - carefree times at school dances, the PA and the Buckroe Pavilion. I am filled with sadness for his family and friends. He made growing up a little more fun for all who knew him. Rest in peace, Danny.

My father made such a great impact on many people's lives. I only knew my father really well for the last 5 years and that short time just was not long enough. In that short period of time, however, he turned into a wonderful father and grandfather. I would love to hear other people's stories of him. Please email me with your memories.

My Friend Bruce and I use to go to his house on 74th Street in the summer time and wake him up in the morning and i could never figure out why he is was so tired. Now I know, from playing music all night.Danny gave me a bunch of leads in the music business and the rest is history. We'll...

Danny was such a good part of my pre high school days as well as high school days. As my pre high school days Danny's mom would baby sit me and my brother Billy and when Danny would get home he would pick on us and Timmy would come to our rescue...Then Danny would get on the piano in the livingroom and just play it. Durning my high school days we would have the Friday night dances and there was Danny. I can still see him there just doing his magic on the keyboard with that great big organ and...

Thanks Danny-you will always be remembered for the joy your music gave to a generation of teenagers almost 40 years ago.
