Not sure what to say?

My sincerest condolences to Amy and Mike through this difficult time. I am praying for you both and the entire Richmond Family.

Danny made an enormous difference in my life when I suddenly lost a husband at the age of 29, 30 years ago. Danny connected me with a handyman who helped me get much-needed work completed around my little house in Meriden and he asked how I was doing frequently when I worked as a children's librarian at Russell Library at that time. (laughs) He did tell my my eyes looked like "two burnt holes in a blanket" once, but I knew what he meant and I know he was paying attention and caring for me as...

Dear Amy and Michael, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to both of you with the loss of you Dad. I used to work with your Mom years ago every now and then. And when both of you were young children my late husband and I would visit all of you at your home. Plus Steve worked at CVH as a police officer. I thouroughing enjoyed knowing both of your parents. May they rest in peace and their spirit live in your hearts each day...take care of each other. Pat and Lisa Harlow

Well , Rebel I hope that you are with all your family and friends that you loved and made laugh. Many years at WFI together where you taught me so much. I have told many of your kindness and adventures with Bo, Dave, Greg and so many others. Always a kid at heart. I will miss you always. Love to your children and to you, my friend.

Amy, Michael and Caleb, I just learned today of your father, grandfathers passing. I am so saddened by this news. Danny was the best supervisor ever. We worked and laughed together at Russell Library. We talked on the phone about 3 weeks ago and shared many laughs and promises to get together soon. He will be missed by you 3 severely. I will be holding you in my heart, with love. Susan

I worked with Danny for several years at Russell Library. He knew our aging and complex building like the back of his hand. If there was a problem with any of our systems or something we needed to keep our eyes on, he kept us informed and was ready with a recommendation. In addition to his building responsibilities, he was in charge of security. In that role, he was the “world champion” of de-escalation! Whenever possible, he defused potential confrontations, though he could handle them if...

Wonderful boss. Was so fair to all his employees. Sending condolences to all of his family

Dear Family, I attended the service for Danny and felt the love you have for him in the wonderful memories and emotions you shared. As you move forward on the paths of your lives may that love continue to sustain you and lift you up. May the tears of sadness become tears of joy when you feel his presence near and watching over you. How blessed you are to love him and be loved by him.

I met Danny when someone at the hospital in Norwich said, "we know someone with the same accent as you!" Sure enough, we did and shared our love of West Virginia and had many good hearty down home laughs together. He will be missed.
