Daniel James "Danny" Talbert

Daniel James "Danny" Talbert, age 22 of Eagleville, died Sunday, June 2, 2013. He was a native of McMinnville, TN.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Darryl Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow in Rocky Glade Cemetery.

Danny is survived by his wife, Callie Joy Patterson Talbert; daughter, Lily Ann Talbert, both of Eagleville; parents, James and Jennifer Hill Talbert of Eagleville; brothers, Lincoln Talbert and his wife Amanda of Smithville, Michael Talbert of Smyrna; grandmother, Winnie Kauffman of Bellefonte, PA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Melanie Patterson of Murfreesboro; brother-in-law, Matt Patterson of Nashville.

Danny was a 2009 graduate of Riverdale High School and was a mechanic. He had been employed by Southeastern Turf for 8 years, and was a member of Murfreesboro Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp #33. Danny was a great husband, dad, son, brother and friend. He was loved by everyone.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, (615) 893-5151.

I'm soooo sorry to hear of the loss of Daniel! He and my son Jared were good friends from Morrison and even played on the same t-ball team when they were little. One day at the ball field Daniel, Jared, and I were walking along and Daniel spotted a flower growing and picked it. He said, "Here, this is for you!" and he handed it to me. I thought: what a sweet, charming little gentleman!!!
