I was thinking of Dr. Thomas lately and was saddened to hear that he had died. When I was a toddler, I had to have surgery for an unusual stomach obstruction. Dr. Thomas was part of my team and made me feel so safe and brave at Children's Hospital. He told me the story of Curious George swallowing the puzzle piece and that made me feel better. He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Thomas diagnosed and treated my 11 year old daughter with Crohn’s. Haley is now 23. We were talking about her doctors yesterday, which printed us to look him up. We were saddened to see he passed away. My family appreciates Dr. Thomas. He will always be near and dear to us.

Thank you Dr. Thomas. You helped my son survive and live. You amazed me with your depth of knowledge and, most of all, patience and understanding for your patients and their parents.

We were saddened when we heard the news about the passing of Dr. Thomas. We were blessed to have had him as part of our daughter’s transplant team. He touched our family in a special way. Our condolences to the family Dr. Thomas.

A wonderful doctor. He was my sons doctor when he was five years old.
