Danny was a great friend for many years. We partied with Roger Miller, Roy Clark, and so many others. Danny had a heart of gold and we loved visiting and sharing stories often. He has a great career and a great which all of us will remember forever.

Goodbye old friend, you are still missed and we are left here to reminisce those good times, that you gave freely to an admiring populous that considers you both friend and family. Our days are not as bright and our hearts still ache at not hearing that infectious laugh that brightened the day. You are missed old friend. K.D. Mitchell

I would often watch the sunrise and I listened to Danny on the Radio. I thought, "Man, this guy was great taste in music!" I live in Omaha NE. I have happy memories of having to be at work at 6:30 am ,and I was able to get KOMA am and listening to Danny on the way to work. That radio station must have been a high WATTAGE to be able for me to tune in from that far away. That was back in the late 1990's. Danny has been gone for 5 years now. I miss him. He was the real deal--a GREAT radio personality. I'm sure he is missed by his family, friends and fans. He was unforgettable. God Rest his soul
