Not sure what to say?

Memories are our treasured blessings GOD blesses us with to hold onto the friends we loved and treasured. Their passing does not end the Memories but makes us remember how special they are to us always and appreciate the life long lessons they shared with us. GOD continues to bless and keep his family.

To the family of Danny Worthy: I am just learning of this sad news. This man has mentored and made me as a KAPPA MAN. As i have read comments about him, all those kind words are TRUE. He once gave this poem to me; So i'm sharing it with you Family:

Be Strong
For we are not here to play, dream, or drift. For we have hard work to do and loads to lift. Shun not the struggle for it is GOD's GIFT.
BE STRONG

My sincere condolences on the passing of Danny. I was driving by the old residence here in Arlington, Texas and asked my son if his Dad or anyone has talked to Danny. That's when I was told that he passed. Gloria and Dana, my prayers are with you.

My most sincere prayers are with the family. I am totally saddened to recently hear the unfortunate news of my Dear Brother! Danny was truly a unique person and a “real” friend. We often exchanged phone calls, text and emails simply to check up on one another. I looked forward to his holiday wishes and his response of mine. Golfing with Danny was truly a positive and memorable experience. For those that new Danny I'm sure they would agree that he could carry some deep discussions from A...

Gloria and family,
It is with a heavy heart that I extend my prayers to you. I just learned of Danny's passing. Our golfing partner in Texas. The CIAA tournament will not be the same without sharing a few laughs with Danny.

To Danny's Family
I'd like to let Danny's family know that all the guys that Danny played basketball with long ago during the summer leagues at MOBC will miss him. During those years we developed memories and friendships that will last a life time. On a personal note I will always be grateful to Danny for being the type of friend who was willing to help you in any way he could. Friends like him are hard to find.
Our prayers go out to Gloria the children and the rest of the...

Gloria,
I have had a heavy heart ever since learning of Danny's passing. I do know however, that he's rejoicing in heaven! I worked with Danny for many many years, first at GTE, then at Verizon. He was such a wonderful man. Every Monday he would come by my desk and ask me about worship service the day before; what bible verse the preacher spoke about and what it meant to me. He was a true angel on earth! I loved this man and will miss him deeply. All his friends in the DFW area...

To the Worthy family, it saddens me to hear of Danny's passing, but it comforts me to know that he rests safely in the arms of God now. Danny was a good man, someone I was glad to meet and know at Mt. Olive. Whether he was performing his task as a deacon, being a husband and a father, a choir/male chorus member, Sunday school teacher/member, helping out with the kids or any other church outreach activities, or just passing on some good brotherly advice, whatever he put his mind on doing for...

My prayers are truly with the Worthy family. You all look up and stay encouraged-To be absent in body here is to be present in spirit with thee. Take comfort in the loving arms of our Father while you cherish the precious memories you have been blessed with. I was a colleague of Danny's at GTE/Verizon, and greatly respected him.
