Daphne Burkhalter

every Epiphany brings my sister/friend Daphne to mind. I miss my forever friend I could talk openly to without fear of being misunderstood.

May the God of comfort bring the family peace in their time of grief.

Sad news for me, but glorious for Daphne. She's dancing in wild joy.
My memories of her are sweet.

Your wonderful Sister, Mother and Grandmother was a beloved chaplain at King County Jail with me. Her fiery love for the Lord and for the women there who needed to meet Him was such a precious thing to watch and learn from - Daphne's practical, forthright, grace-filled example was a tremendous gift to me and to them straight from the heart of God. She will be so dearly missed. Praying you will each know you are wrapped in the Lord's great arms of grace as you love her for now from a distance.
