Daphne Farago

I some time think of you Daphné and miss our lunch together or our visit to the Morikami you are truly miss

Daphne Farago was a remarkable art collector. She gifted much of her collection to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Condolences to Peter, Paul and to all Faragos. I enjoyed and admired Daphne as Peter's nanny many years ago in Providence (when Peter was 4 and 5 years old).

I never actually met Daphne Frarago. One day I got a phone call from her inquiring if I might have one of my jewelry necklaces available.. It so happened that I had one of my favorite pieces recently completed that was inspired by a trip to Taiwan. I met Daphne and Peter Farago in the Florida Keys back about 1991 when they were supporting conservation efforts in the Keys hardwood hammock communities. Wonderful people. Also, appreciate so much the support they gave to Morikami Musuem and Japanese Gardens. Sanders E. Lewallen
