Not sure what to say?

Shall be dearly missed... forever.

Daphne my dear friend, she was so loving and generous. Daphne was my roommate in the Eighties; she was fun and delightful to know. We stayed up late telling stories and talking about life. Through the years she would always listen and help me laugh away my worries. She encouraged me to explore my creative side. I miss her.

What words come for daphne, beloved and tireless teacher? Bright and feisty spirit, you had faith in these ridiculous hands, and an ear and a heart for me. A sore loss, deeply missed.

Daphne - most lovely, most kind, most talented Daphne.
We all miss you so.......
Sandi and Pascal Lehmann

Daphne was my first teacher at the Jewelry Arts Institute. She was so talented. I admired her patience and flexibility and humor. Her lively conversations centered mostly on women's rights, politics, theater and the arts. She had a lot of character and spirit. I think of her and wish her peace.

daphne knew had to connect with people on a meaningful level.
unfortunately, she and i had an unhappy connection, and a common foe.
i admired her because she refused to let her illness define her.
so, i will remember her for her kindness, her humility, her talent and her fierce determination.
she was strong, yet gentle. gifted and humble.
i will miss her.

Every time I wear my ruby ring, I think of Daphne. She was determined that I get the stone set perfectly! As it turned out, it's not quite perfect, but Daphne switched immediately from task-mistress to cheerleader, telling me that it looked great. For me, that epitomized Daphne at JAI: an excellent teacher with high standards and a generous soul.

So sad to learn of Daphne's passing. She was a very generous teacher at Jewelry Arts, sharing her knowledge & talents with so many students. My condolences to her family.
