Mary, I am so sorry to lose Darin. I always thought a lot of him and admired his courage.

Mary, Though we never met, I want you to know that Darin was a wonderful person to me and others at House of Hope. He was a leader to other students and a real partner to me in rebuilding the house in Wildwood. We all will miss him. May the Lord give peace to you and your family. Gene Barton House of Hope Board

Dear Mary: We are so very sorry to hear of Darin's passing. We only knew him for the last 7 years but we definitely thought of him as a close friend. Darin was honest, hard-working, compassionate, and so many other qualities that you know so well and he will be greatly missed. I met Darin when he first came to the House of Hope. We developed a fast friendship. We worked side by side to give others a place to live and heal. We have been forever friends since.
