Not sure what to say?

I just came across a poem I wrote for Darius in 1994 and tried to trace him down on the www after decades of silence. So very sad to lear that he passed away though very grateful to have met him.

Dear Andrea and Manoucher, I am very deeply saddened to hear about Darius´s passing. Losing a child at any age is unimaginable, and my heart goes out to you both. I will always remember Darius as a soft-spoken person with a kind smile and incredible talent at the piano. His warmth and presence touched everyone who knew him. With sympathy, Moe and Mary Bidgoli

Dear Dr. and Mrs. Gueramy, I was only informed of your son, Darius, and his passing on February of 2025 just now.We knew each other from Albion, and he really loved music and playing the piano. Darius was a nice guy, and he lived in the French dorm and I lived in the Spanish dorm of the I House. I graduated in 2087. It really saddens me, and at the same time makes me think of all the good times we had living In the International House. It seems like yesterday when I graduated from Albion...

I met Darius at Albion. Amy and Ann Ralston, John Zonars ( Whom I know from high school), and Ulrich an exchange student from Luxembourg were all in the mix. Darius loved the ladies and was quite the romancer:) He always let his music and love of music lead. We found each other again in LA and were able to hang out a few times before his illness took over. He was a dreamer. The last time we spoke he was sending me ideas for the vineyard in Temecula. I am an artist and he wanted my...

I attended Albion College at the same time as Darius. The first time I met him, I heard some beguiling music coming from one of the practice rooms in the music department. I sat and listened, we talked, and that began a 40 year friendship that I will remember forever. We had countless adventures together, including a 4000 mile drive along an ancient pilgrimage path from Sintra, Portugal, through Spain and France, ending finally at Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland. Darius was a deep thinker,...

Fond memories of "Boo" from Central Junior High. We had many lunch hour discussions about my favorite alternative band Devo. My condolences to the family. Lisa (Miller) Servis

Dr. & Mrs. Gueramy, It's hard to fathom your loss. Darius was such a spitfire. We worked together for several years on a nonprofit and I was always amazed at his drive, talents and curiosity. He made a positive impact on my life and I am forever grateful. May God fill you with his spirit and clothe you in his peace.

I was saddened to hear of Darius´ passing, he was a classmate at Central Intermediate and we were on the same hockey team one year. Even though we did not remain in touch, I considered Darius a friend and will always have fond memories of him. He was friendly and smart, an all-around good person. My condolences to all Darius' friends and family.
