To the Marshall family,

I cannot say that I was a close friend to Darius..I knew him and played football with him at Bishop Grimes my freshman year of high school...he was a hell of a player, tough and intelligent. I later ran into him again at a track meet a CBA...always with a smile on his face and a good attitude, Darius was a person who was easy to like by all. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to you all. I went to Wagner College with Darius and I feel blessed to have had the pleasure of knowing such a wonderful person. God bless you during this ordeal.
