Joseph H. Brown, Jr. Funeral Home, P.A. - Baltimore Obituary

As a child Darius was quiet, shy and funny
and a Mama's boy. Overtime he
bansfonned into an amazing outgoing
social butterfly, but still a Mama's boy. He
enjoyed every moment of his life whether it
was work to play. Along with his regular 9
to 5, Mason was his own Boss. From
selling relationship I friendship necklaces,
clothes ... to "fixing· phone screens, Mason
was always on the grind. He hated to be
broke, however was extremely generous.
Mason loved his family. He considered his

Mom to be his best friend but had a very

very special relationship with his
grandmother (Faye McNeil) who had her
own special nickname from him "Doodieft•
He could do no wrong in her eyes. Mason
said that he would never move away from
home because he would miss his brother

and sisters thafs how much he loved
them. Darius known to all as Mason was a

sincere friend to everyone and everyone
loved him. He was always traveling to new
places or hanging out, if there was a party
or any even where he could get together
with family and friends he was there too
liven it up. Mason loved to dance at least
thafs what he called what he was doing
dancing. Extremely handsome with his

beautiful smile and well dressed he could
be out together from head to toe but his
Signature was his taped up broken
glasses. I never saw a man make broken
glasses look so good. He had a personality
that was made of nothing less than
positive energy. It was impossible not to
smile or be happy when he was around.

Mason will be sadly missed and lives won't
be the same but his spirit will be the one
that shines and lives on in everyone's
heart that he encountered.
