Not sure what to say?

Larry
I was net surfing and found that Darla had passed away last year. I am truly heart broken to learn of the news. I still have the picture of you and Darla at the Opry on my refrigerator that you had sent me in your Christmas letter in 2008. I think about the good times I had with Gregg often. Too many years have past but the memories are as clear as if it was yeaterday sitting in your back yard or basement. Darla, Daisy, Gregg and you will always have a place in my heart. I wish...

My sympathy to you and your family.

Mr. Diebel and Family,
I knew Darla well in elementary and Jr high school. We visited often. I remember watching "The Monkees" on her basement rec room TV. I have thought of her often over the years and was very saddened to learn of her passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart goes out to you Larry, Nikita and the grandkids. Although we lost touch through the distant, I too deeply feel Darla’s loss. She was my first real friend when we moved to Setauket in 1961, when I was six years old. Darla gave me the gift of freedom. Freedom to take risks and to find something enjoyable in every moment. She was my Pollyanna growing up when I truly need one. Even after the loss of her dear brother Greg, who was to be a groomsmen at my wedding, she was there for...

Larry and Nikki, what a wonderful person to know. Darla was one of kind. We will always remember the times she shared with us. She really was a people person. May God keep you in His loving care.

Mr. Diebel, Nikki and family: I was very sad to learn today that my childhood friend, Darla, had passed away. While I have not had contact with her for probably 30 years, I have wonderful memories of her as my neighborhood friend, spending many hours playing in Poquott. Know that she is at peace now and without pain and joins her Mom and brother, Gregg, in Heaven. May that give you some comfort as you try to live life without Darla. Hugs, Cindy

Dear Nikki & Family,
Well God needed another Angel to go with Mr. John!
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you heal. May you find comfort in knowing she loved being a Mom, as well as a proud Grandmother!
The pool at Sweetwater won't be the same this summer without her!
God Bless You and Keep you Safe.
Sincerely,
Ms. Dale Sims
