My deepest condolences to Doug and his family. Although I did not know Darla, I have known Doug for a long time and know that he did all he could to care for Darla.

It was a gift to work with Darla when she served as my editor at Senior Review. She was so skilled and talented and I loved how she could always make my words look good. I greatly admired her spirituality and her sensibility. I miss her greatly and was honored to know her. She was a wonderful person who inspired me very much and encouraged me in my writing. I will remember her forever and it is still hard for me to believe she is gone. Hugs and my love to Arlene and the rest of Darla's family.
