Aunt Darla taught me how to swim underwater without holding my nose. I remember that day very clearly. I think I was 4 years old, and we lived in AZ at the time. To this day, no one knows (and I don't remember) what she said to me, but it worked. I hadn't seen her for many years. She attended my wedding in Denver in 2004. She will be missed. With Love, Staci

Mom had two distinct personalities: the one dad knew, and the one she saved for us four kids. Siblings, you know what I am talking about.... Cruising Main Street USA and all the Chinese fire drills at red lights. Driving with the windows open during a blizzard with no coats on. And lets not forget, the old fire bell that would randomly ring in the late hours of the night while the town was sleeping. Remember the feasts she cooked for the hay rides at the rodeo arena? Her amazing...

I am so sorry. I worked with Darla for many years and became her friend. We had many laughs and tears during that time. She loved her family first & formost and was also very creative. She gave me the love of stamping greeting cards, which I do to this day. My heart is with you and may your precious memories help you through this difficult time.
