Not sure what to say?

We are so sad to learn of Darla's passing. She will be missed by many, especially her canine friends. She was a big help to us in the training of our border collie Sophie. She is the reason why we always board and have our dogs groomed at Animal Crackers. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family.

Darla was a wonderful trainer for dogs and people. She helped me and my German Shepherd become a team. When my husband was ill our dog stayed at Animal Crackers for over two months. Darla made sure she was well taken care of. She will be greatly missed.

I am at a loss for words. My best friend is gone. She is now at the Rainbow Bridge with the loves of her life. I would have to say that all the dogs that she owned and trained are happy to be with her. I met Darla in 1997 when I brought my first great dane to her for training. She has trained many dogs for me including my Blue Great Dane Gus. He love obedience and rally and scored high scores 2 years in a row in rally. Darla was so proud of him. We built a great friendship together that...

I am devastated. She was a wonderful coach and friend. We became friends when I took my Bouvier puppy, Harpo, to her for obedience. I learned so much from her. She loved Harpo so much that even after he finished his last class, she asked us to bring him by to see her as often as we could. I will miss her terribly.

My thoughts & prayers are with the family.Darla was such a beautiful girl in high school and very sweet too.Very sad for your loss.

What a sweetheart! She was a standout at Lufkin High School and a great classmate. What a loss for all of us. She will be missed.

I was so glad when Darla moved to Lufkin at last I had a friend as tall as me. We had a great time at LHS, the class of '58. she was dating a guy from Cleveland and he and his friend Don Balch would meet us at the "Pioneer" on Sunday night after church on their way back to SFA. Fifty-four yrs later Don and I are still married. She was our cupid. She was beautiful and a precious friend. I am so sad. You all have been added to my daily pray list. love you

I was so sad to learn of Darla's passing when I took my dog to Animal Crackers today. She seemed to love her work and everyone seemed to love her back. I know she will be missed.

Darla was my friend, my classmate and a truly wonderful person. She leaves a huge void in our lives.
