Not sure what to say?

Because of my absence from MN, just moments ago I learned of Darlene's death. She was a cherished, loyal friend; our friendship enduring over many years since first meeting as employees of the Mound School District. Dick, Sue, Steve, Lori... there are no words to tell how I will miss her.

Friends and co-workers of Darlene,
Thank-you all for your kind words of my mother. When going through Mom's papers I was amazed at the extent of friend's addresses/birthdays she kept track of. Many co-workers/friends brought jewlery from their vacations for her...she has a post-it on each box stating who gave it to her and where/why. God bless you all who shared your friendship with her.
Love, from her daughter SuAnn

I was away, and did not learn of Darlene's death until this evening. I went to school with Darlene as you know, but we have lost track over the years. I remember her as sweet and gentle; and when I saw her at Class Reunions she remained sweet and gentle. How sad for you to lose her.

I was so sorry to hear about Darlene's death. She was such a sweet woman and a hard worker. I enjoyed working with her on the Association Board and we will miss her very much. My heartfelt sorrow to the family and friends.

Dear Boerner family,

I am saddened to hear of the loss of Darlene. I feel so blessed to have known this beautiful and kind woman. I recall our lunch at Biaggi's a short time ago as if it was yesterday, we had such a nice time visiting and catching up. I recall smiling the entire day, just thinking how precious you both are. I am so thankful to have that memory so fresh in my mind. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.

Dear Dick and Family,

Darlene's death is so unbelieveable and so sad for us too. We were so proud to call Darlene our friend. Walt loved serving on the Association Board with her. She was one of the warmest, sweetest, most sincere people we hae ever known. We pray for Darlene's soul and that you and your family will be able to deal with her passing and move forward as Darlene would wish you to do. You are all in our thoughts and our prayers.

Love,
Walt &...
