Dear Mr. Croce and the family and friends of Darlene,

I am shocked and deeply saddened to read today, July 3rd, in Jefferson's newsletter that Darlene has passed away. I first met Darlene about 3 years ago when she organized the Phantom tickets for the Lupus Foundation. We met again when she organized the Tea for Jefferson employees.

Only having the opportunity to know Darlene briefly and not on a personal level, I was immediately impressed by her enthusiam for life and...

Dear Tom,

I worked with your wife as co-chair of "Arthritis in the Prime of Life." I have yet to meet a kinder, more exhuberent lady. My prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. I feel truly blessed to have known Darlene, although the timespan was much too short.
