Not sure what to say?

Darlene was the first person to sit beside me and befriend me on our first day at Ryerson University in the Applied Geography program. We quickly became friends and spent many fun times together, each of us navigating the new experiences of starting university, meeting new people, dealing with new life pressures and challenges. She was always the life of the party with a ready smile. Sadly, we lost touch after graduation, but I'm happy to read about her family, her love of nature and good...

Sincere condolences in the passing of Darlene (DeeDee). Fond childhood memories of David and DeeDee. Remembering all the fun times and one memory that sticks out is her little purse full of candy. So sorry David and family.

She loved the water, all of nature's critters (except moths, perhaps) and music of all sorts. She had a deep-seated sense of right and wrong, was honest to a fault, and tended towards stubbornness. She was kind, thoughtful and generous, and all of the other nice things Sherri mentioned. She was my friend. I will miss her. Rest in peace, Darla. Condolences to the Sekoras and the Drindaks.

R.I.P. Darlene. Great memories from highschool and Toronto. My condolences to her family

Dave and family, Very sorry to hear about the loss of your sister Darlene

Darlene, DD, was a very very close friend for all of high school and into our university years in Toronto. I was blessed to live with her and enjoy her baking many nights when we should´ve been studying. She was so smart she never had to study! Those cherished years and before, our parents allowed us to stay up late to watch David Letterman while Skinny fed us treats all night. The years were joyous and the family amazing! Some of the best years ever were with Darlene!! She was sassy, funny,...

In loving memory of Darlene. I met Darlene in high school. Sincere condolences to her family
