Darlene M. Lefebvre, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. She was born in Holyoke on February 21, 1948, a daughter of the late Roger and Hazel (Leeming) Gelinas. Darlene loved caring for others; she worked as a family support coordinator at Abilities Unlimited for 17 years....

Darlene was such a wonderful, loving person - full of life and laughter. Her gentleness and understanding were such enormous gifts she gave to the people around her. I am so happy to have been touched by her kindness, and so sad to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences to all of you. Your are in my thoughts.

Darlene was a classmate in 1966 in Holyoke High School. She was a friend and a great lady. The class of '66 is near the 50th graduation festivity, and this great Lady will be missed. Rest well old friend. The world is a sadder place without you.
