I met Darlene at the bus stop in my neighborhood (Brownes Addition) in Spokane in 2014 while attending college. We saw each other there frequently and would have awesome little conversations. Made me feel like I had an adopted grammy while I lived there attending EWU. Sweetest and kindest lady ever. May she rest in peace.
