Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Lane and the Valum family who I knew at Bellingham High school. Joni (DeFries) Lewis

We have good memories from Darlene and Rolf visiting us in Levanger, Norway, the last time in 2004. We also had the pleasure of visiting their home in Bellingham in 1997. They took us on a ride with their fifth-wheel and on their boat. My father Sigmund Alfnes 91years (Rolfs cousin) also wish to send his condolences. Astrid Alfnes Larsen and Gunnar Larsen

I never new Mrs. Valum but thoroughly enjoyed reading her obituary, condolences to her family.

I used to babysit for the Valums when I had Mr. Valum for my math teacher at Whatcom Junior High. I remember them living a few blocks from me on F Street. Fast forward to 1962 when I invited them to my wedding. They gave me a 9x9 stainless steel baking pan which just today I was using!

We here in Trondheim Norway have a lot of great memories. I am sharing the interest of weaving and often think of Darlene when I sit down on my loom. My mother Synnøve also sends her blessings

From this we began meeting many times for lunch all over the county followed by...
