I'm very sorry to hear of Mrs. Alderson passing away. She was one of the few teachers to believe in me and give me a chance in spite of my personal struggles during elementary school. I was in a few of the plays listed in the 70's and was even hand picked by her to be the Master Of Ceremonies for a Christmas Variety show. She made sure I had a solo to sing for every performance in spite of my average grades. That is why, randomly, a 'lion of the forest' sang the opening theme song solo for...

I have great memories of being in Mrs Aldersons class- both for music and 4th grade. I snuck a bunch of young puppies out of my dog´s house onto the bus and into class one day in a Girl Scout cookie box - I excitedly told her I had puppies and was disappointed that she just waved me off and told me to set them on the back counter. Dear Diane, Daphne and Darla, I´m am sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. What a wonderful full life she had!
