I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. It is really hard to lose someone who has always been in your life. I found after losing my beloved Father, that only remembering the good times makes it easier to deal with.
When I think of your Dad my fondest memory will always be that he was responsible for my getting my very first horse. I chuckle about some of the racing and training mishaps, especially the one with Chipper the Killer Colt. I don't think I had ever seen your Dad embarrested...
