Darrel Ray Skolrud

Michelle and family,
It is with great sadness that I saw this this morning. Darrel was the best neighbor. He was kind, compassionate, funny and always helpful. When he and Michelle moved in next door, he made the extra effort to connect with my kids. He was always available to help me when my husband was gone and I loved seeing him out front, laughing and enjoying the evening with Michelle. I am so sad for you all.
Michelle- if you need anything- we are right here!

He was the main mailman at the casino I worked at and later at another casino I managed. He was such a nice man with a great chuckle... he always had that smile and allowed me to vent the daily issues as I walked him out the door... sometimes keeping him longer then he should. I used to say he followed me to the second casino. He will truly be missed but the memories will last my lifetime... he was quite the gem. My deepest condolences to the family and friends.
