Please accept my deepest condolences. If memory serves, as a high school student Darrell also worked at Rusty's Hamburgers on Kansas Ave across from Lakeside Park, where he was an ornery but very nice "mentor" to a young fellow working his first job off the farm and in the city. His enthusiasm for Led Zeppelin's first album was infectious and his conviction that "Communication Breakdown" was the GOAT was unshakable. He was very kind and shared a vast knowledge of life freely.
